Today I read an article from Newsweek entitled “Tax Breaks for Bubble Heads“. In it, the author, Daniel Gross outlines “Congress latest dumb idea to fix the housing crisis”. Although I think this thing has too much momentum to stop, I take some small consolation that there are voices of reason trying to be heard. If you share similar views, I encourage you to write about them…maybe the chorus will grow.
black on black slayings need more attention…. the center for disease control and prevention found that among 10- to 24 year old , homicide is the leading cause of death for african americans, and other reports show that more than 90 percent of the violence is from other blacks , mostly by gunfire… a children defense fund report , using cdc data, shows that although african americans represent just 15 percent of the nations youth….. this is a report by barbara reynolds and also have the 45 percentage of black children killed by gunfire in 2008 and 2009….
